Xylar«

Whitford markets Xylar® range of coatings characterised by an inorganic and ceramic-metallic bonding agent. The latter, known as "Cornerstone", creates harder coatings which are very resistant to high temperatures.

It also provides exceptional protection against corrosion when applied as a thin film and when a self-lubricating coating is required.

It is also used as a primer for the Xylan range, obtaining a non-stick and anticorrosive coating.

It is recommended in three main areas: for the protection of metal against oxidation produced by water, for the protection of metal against oxidation because of high temperatures, and as a sacrificial primer layer for any conventional air spray lubricant coating.
