Corundum is a high hardness mineral made of aluminum oxide with a wide variety of applications for the industry. It can be found in many qualities and grain sizes. At COATRESA Grup we mostly use it in order to carry out a surface preparation by projecting the corundum particles under controlled pressure. This is how we prepare the parts that will later receive the application of a non-stick or anti-corrosion technical coating.
