Therefore, we have purchased a new salt spray chamber to test coating behavior when in corrosive environments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Corrosion is a natural chemical reaction where oxygen is combined with iron, creating ferric oxide. This process is accelerated when produced in humid environments and with salt presence, producing electrochemical effects, making reactions more virulent. To avoid this process, high performance anticorrosive coatings can be used, preventing metal from entering in contact with oxygen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-2768-1\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-has-style\" ><div style=\"padding: 0px 0; \" data-overlay=\"true\" data-overlay-color=\"#000000\" class=\"panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-2768-1\" ><div id=\"pgc-2768-1-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-2768-1-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" ><div style=\"text-align: left;\" data-title-color=\"#47425d\" data-headings-color=\"#443f3f\" data-title_alignment=\"center\" class=\"panel-widget-style panel-widget-style-for-2768-1-0-0\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<h2>Corrosion test<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From our laboratory we wish to develop those coatings, creating the anticorrosive coat suitable for each metal and each environment. This salt spray chamber, by NEURTEK, simulates humid environments and with salt presence, which allow to measure the resistance to corrosion. Those tests can last over 240 hours thanks to a peristaltic pump with a speed regulator, delivering a constant brine flow.
