Properties and benefits of Incopaint® Coatings
- Corrosion and Chemical Resistance: Incopaint coatings offer exceptional protection against corrosion and exposure to aggressive chemicals, ensuring the integrity and longevity of military equipment in hostile environments.
- Friction Reduction: These coatings significantly reduce the coefficient of friction, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing wear on moving components in defense systems.
- High Thermal Resistance: Capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, Incopaint coatings ensure stable and reliable performance of military equipment under adverse thermal conditions.
- Non-Stick and Self-Cleaning Properties: They facilitate the cleaning and maintenance of equipment, contributing to greater operability and reduced downtime in military operations.
- Electrical Insulation and Electrostatic Dissipation: Ideal for sensitive electronic applications in defense, these coatings provide electrical insulation and can be tailored to dissipate electrostatic charges according to specific needs.
- Applications in the defense industry: Incopaint coatings are used in a wide range of military equipment and components, including:
- Weapon systems and munitions
- Aerospace and military aviation components
- Electronic and communication systems
- Armored and transport vehicles
- Naval and submarine infrastructure
Finishes
- Infrared Spectrum Camouflage Finishes: Formulated with pigments that reduce reflection in the infrared spectrum, providing camouflage characteristics within that range. Compliant with the Spanish standard NME-2499 (Khaki M12).
- CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) Finishes: Designed to protect structures, vehicles, and electronic devices against chemical contamination and to facilitate their decontamination. Compliant with standards STANAG 4360 Ed3 AEP 65 and offer resistance to fungal growth (MIL-STD-810G Method 508.5).
- ASKD finishes: Indicated for vehicles or structures exposed to aggressive chemicals, such as aviation hydraulic fluids. They offer resistance to immersion in Skydrol for 1000 hours.
