The Eurosurfas 2021 trade fair was held in Barcelona the week of 14-17 September. The fair, which is held every three years, brings together national and international exhibitors from the surface treatment industry. After being unable to be held for a year due to COVID-19, Eurosurfas opened its doors together with Expoquimia and Equiplast at the Barcelona exhibition centre. During this edition, emphasis was placed on sustainability, digitalisation, and technology transfer. In addition, the aim was to highlight the reactivation of the economy and to celebrate the fact that trade fairs can finally return to normality.
Recognition of Tomàs Marín work
AIAS, "Asociación de Industrias de Acabados de Superficies", together with Eurosurfas, recognised the professional career of Tomàs Marín, founder of Coatresa. This recognition wants to thank his dedication and a whole trajectory in the surface treatment sector. During his speech, Tomàs Marín wanted to highlight the great role played by the human team at Coatresa: "a company is not a company, nor does it have a future, if it does not make the people who work in it feel proud and part of it". At Coatresa, we know that thanks to the people who form part of our team, we can continue to grow and offer the best service in what we have always known how to do: high quality technical coatings. These coatings bring non-stick, anti-corrosion and low friction properties to the market.
After the pandemic
This was one of the first times we have been back at a show, after more than a year without being able to attend because of the pandemic. We are proud that, on this return, the company founder's track record and a job well done is being recognised. We hope that, from now on, we can be present at more fairs and contribute to the reactivation of the sector. The next appointment will be from the 7th to the 9th of November at the Gulfood fair in Dubai. We are looking forward to seeing you all!
