Hydrophobia is the quality to repel water and avoid oil from adhering to a substrate. Teflon-based hydrophobic coatings repel water when applied on pots and pans, making the use of oil practically unnecessary when cooking foods. This fact contributes to keeping a healthy diet free of unnecessary fats. On the other hand, applying a hydrophobic coating on molds or pieces of any industrial sector, we will avoid the use of demolding agents, improving the productive rhythm reducing considerably the time dedicated to cleaning and maintenance.
